A. 電影英語怎麼說
英文里表示電影的詞彙有好多，film、movie、cinema、motion picture等等，這個問題以前答過無數回了，別處回答照搬：
cinema的詞源是運動之意。這個詞在英國有電影院的意思，在美國只在較少情況下表示電影院。除開電影院的意思，cinema是個整體的電影概念，涵蓋電影的方方面面，也比較正式，比較學術，平時少用，一用就顯得特別嚴肅。比如指一國電影：American cinema，national cinema，電影研究：cinema studies。
film的詞源是膠片，有時候也有類似cinema的整體概念，電影研究也可以是film studies，電影史：film history，電影產業：film instry。film經常也指某部具體的影片，a good film，這時候才譯作「影片」，和movie的意思相同，但按一般的習慣，film更嚴肅一點，高雅一點，movie顯得較通俗一點。
movie的詞源也和運動有關，它是moving picture的縮寫，20世紀初出現的生造詞。現在經常指某部具體的影片，也可以指整體上的電影，比起film來它更加口頭化，因而movie instry、movie critic這種搭配就不太正式。
motion picture是比較產業的說法，簡稱picture，在好萊塢業內，比如奧斯卡頒獎禮上就用這個詞。 經常看Variety或Hollywood Reporter可以發現，他們主要用picture指代電影，但在《紐約時報》這種大眾媒體則會用film或movie。
另外flick也可以表示影片，詞源上是閃爍的意思，因為電影就是一格一格跳躍閃爍的，但這個詞非常口語化，很不正式。如chick flick——針對女性的片子。 正規媒體上很少用flick表示電影。
這還不全，英語中表示電影或相近含義的詞還有不少，中文實在是對應不過來。中文可以用「電影」來表示整體的概念，用「影片」表示具體的某部電影，也可以用「片子」來表示很口語化的表達，不過還是沒法傳達英語里一些微妙的涵義差別。

Movie is my favorite that I always watch movies when I am free. Since I like English very much, so the English movie is my favorite, too.
