My sister finished high school two weeks ago.As a special gift ,our parents took us to India.Last weekend was interesting but scary.我們的姐姐兩周前高中畢業，作為一個特殊的禮物，我們的父母帶我們去了印度，上周既有趣又恐怖。

We went camping in a small village in India.First,we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside.我們在印度一個小山村裡野營。首先，我們坐了很久的公汽到一個鄉下的湖邊。

There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.我們在那裡支起我們的帳篷，生了一堆火用來保暖和做飯。

On the first night,we just sat under the moon and told each other stories.在第一個晚上，我們只是做在月亮下互相講故事。

But I was so tired that I went to sleep early.但是我是如此累以至於我早早地睡了。

The next morning,my sister and I got a terrible surprise.第二天早上，我的姐姐大吃一驚。

When we looked out of our tent,we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire.當我們朝帳篷外望去的時候，我們看到一條大蛇正在火堆旁邊睡覺。

I was so scared that I couldn't move.We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger.我是如此的害怕以至於我不能動彈了，我們朝父母大喊讓他們知道危險。

My dad started to jump up and down in their tent .This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake.我的爸爸開始在帳篷里上下跳，這樣做驚醒了蛇，它爬進了湖邊的森林裡去了。

My dad told me later that snakes don't have ears but can feel things moving.後來我的爸爸告訴我，蛇沒有耳朵只能感覺到震動。

He also told me it was important not to go near a snake,This was a very useful lesson for me.他只告訴我博要靠近蛇是很重要的，這對於我來說是非常有用的教訓。
