My sister finished high school two weeks ago.As a special gift ,our parents took us to India.Last weekend was interesting but scary.我们的姐姐两周前高中毕业，作为一个特殊的礼物，我们的父母带我们去了印度，上周既有趣又恐怖。

We went camping in a small village in India.First,we took a long bus ride to a lake in the countryside.我们在印度一个小山村里野营。首先，我们坐了很久的公汽到一个乡下的湖边。

There we put up our tents and made a fire to keep us warm and cook food on.我们在那里支起我们的帐篷，生了一堆火用来保暖和做饭。

On the first night,we just sat under the moon and told each other stories.在第一个晚上，我们只是做在月亮下互相讲故事。

But I was so tired that I went to sleep early.但是我是如此累以至于我早早地睡了。

The next morning,my sister and I got a terrible surprise.第二天早上，我的姐姐大吃一惊。

When we looked out of our tent,we saw a big snake sleeping near the fire.当我们朝帐篷外望去的时候，我们看到一条大蛇正在火堆旁边睡觉。

I was so scared that I couldn't move.We shouted to our parents to let them know about the danger.我是如此的害怕以至于我不能动弹了，我们朝父母大喊让他们知道危险。

My dad started to jump up and down in their tent .This woke the snake up and it moved into the forest near the lake.我的爸爸开始在帐篷里上下跳，这样做惊醒了蛇，它爬进了湖边的森林里去了。

My dad told me later that snakes don't have ears but can feel things moving.后来我的爸爸告诉我，蛇没有耳朵只能感觉到震动。

He also told me it was important not to go near a snake,This was a very useful lesson for me.他只告诉我博要靠近蛇是很重要的，这对于我来说是非常有用的教训。

翻译技巧：
